LESS-IN-LANDFILLS
Working Towards a Brighter Future
We're not doing enough.
Most recyclable materials can only be recycled once, making consumers feel that they're doing enough. We participate in clean ups but continue to use the very plastic's we're cleaning up.

What Less-In-Landfills is doing?
We are working toward bringing awareness to everyone about what we have to do to in order to save our world. We are contacting hundreds of companies asking them to change to more sustainable packaging and providing options for those companies.
Plastic Intake
Plastic takes an upward of 450 years to breakdown partially and when it does fully break down it becomes harmful particle's. By cutting down on your usage of plastic, you are preventing the death of many animals and saving landfills from being expanded into your communities. By making your own ramen instead of buying kinds
Composting
Composting is a great cheap and simple way to stop food waste in your home, office, or school. These systems not only prevent overfilling in landfills, but the compost can be sold or used for gardening and fertilizer. Be a part of the solution not the problem.
What makes us different then other programs?
Less in landfills is a student run program with one mission, to provide awareness and strike change. Companies and community's are putting money extreme amounts of money toward cleanups but continue to support the root of problem everyday. Our hope is to effect even just one person into changing. Without changing we will be overcome with waste and changing climates from the green house gases that decomposing item's produce.
